365: Day 202

One of my favorite cups. I received this in a surprise package back in the winter. It came from my great friends Jaclyn and Rob and everytime I drink my coffee out of it at work, I think of them!

365: Day 201

Last weekend a friend and I caught part of "Annie" in Prescott Park. Each summer there is a children's play that runs all summer long outside in the park, and this year is "Annie". We were only able to stay for a bit, but I will definitely be going back again. Here is the scene were Daddy Warbucks has just met Annie for the first time.

365: Day 200

Q. What is more fun than 4 adults in a kiddie pool?
A. 4 adults playing Marco Polo in a kiddie pool.

This Saturday was one of the most random and most fun Saturdays I have had all summer! It started out with a normal day at the beach and ended with homemade lobster rolls, jalapeno infused strawberry margaritas, a kiddie pool, a slip n' slide and fireworks. It was an awesome day!

365: Day 199

On Friday I headed to the Greek Festival in Portsmouth. Enjoyed some great Greek food and had a good time, although it was short lived due to 100 degree temps.
Will definitely have to go back again next year!

365: Day 198

Took a vacation day to relax at the beach.

365: Day 197

Heat wave!
This wasn't even the hottest day of the week.

365: Day 196

Sunset from the balcony of The River House in Portsmouth.

365: Day 195

My friend Xio and I had fun with IBooth while waiting for The Bachelorette to come on.

365: Day 194

Storm clouds moving in during a beach day.

365: Day 193

Last Saturday a couple of friends and I headed over to our other's friends house for a night of BBQ ribs, shooting a crossbow and hanging out in a teepee. You know, just your typical Saturday night!

365: Day 192

Bug crawling around on the side porch of the office during lunchtime

365: Day 191

I came back to work after 2+ weeks of vacation to find my office decorated for my birthday.
 I have such amazing co-workers!

365: Day 190

Got to spend my last couple of hours at home with this little lady. I turned the camera around on my phone so she could see herself.

365: Day 189

Sorry for the delay in posting pictures! To catch you all up, I was supposed to fly back to New Hampshire on July 9th, and a few hours before my flight left I checked my email and found out that my flight was cancelled due to severe storms, which meant one more day with my family! We had one more night to play cards, enjoy dinner together and watch a rain storm drench the front gardens.

365: Day 188

It's my 29th birthday! We were supposed to go on a boat tour of the Pictured Rocks, but the weather did not cooperate, so we headed up to one of my favorite places; Copper Harbor, Michigan. We stopped at the Jam Pot and then took a picture of my wonderful parents in front the waterfall. I could not have asked for a better birthday!

365: Day 187

Last night I celebrated an early birthday with a family birthday dinner. My mom made my favorite; rigatoni! Here is my little nephew blowing on his birthday party horn.

365: Day 186

My parents and I went for an evening deer ride and spotted this little lady.

365: Day 185

I spent the afternoon hanging out with my niece and nephews. Edy loved playing in the kiddie pool while Jackson used his toy gun to "protect grandma and grandpa's house from monsters and to rescue hurt kangaroos on their way to Madagascar." They are both so much fun!

365: Day 184

I enjoyed a wonderful 4th of July relaxing at my aunt and uncle's cottage on Lake Superior. We kayaked, grilled venison steaks, and roasted s'mores on the beach bonfire. It was perfect!

365: Day 183

A little visitor in our backyard.

365: Day 182

I got to spend time with my friend's Christina and Cody and their two adorable little girls the other night. They made a great dinner and even made gluten-free brownies for dessert!
I got to see their new home on the lake and play with their little girls.
Here is Addy snuggling her her daddy before bedtime.

365: Day 181

My mom, grandma, aunt and I headed over to my sister's in the morning for coffee and to play with  my niece. I spotted this piece of paper on her high chair.

365: Day 180

Last weekend we took my grandma down to our hunting camp so she could see the new cabin that we are building. My dad and brother and brother-in-laws had been hard at work all day putting in the windows and working on the roof.

365: Day 179

My mom, aunt, grandma, sister, niece, nephew and I all headed out to Pasty Fest this past weekend. (Pasties are a food popular in Upper Michigan). My nephew wanted to get his face painted with a "blue cowboy mustache and goatee" to go with his new cowboy hat. I have never seen a 3 year old so excited! I love this picture!

365: Day 178

My aunt's cat Shimmer

365: Day 177

This is the look my niece Edy gave me when I wouldn't stop taking her picture!
This photo might just come out again at her graduation party.

365: Day 176

Finally got to meet my new sweet little nephew Silas.

365: Day 175

Almost home! View of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan from the airplane.
