Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 13

How cute are these two in their color-coordinating outfits?

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 12

I am learning how to tie flies! This is my first woolly-bugger (which will also be the name of my future dog).

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 11

Excited to play one of my favorite games when I am home with my family in two months!

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 10

Today was another awesome day with my bf's family. We ventured up to the White Mountains and rode up Mount Washington on the Cog Railway. Unfortunately, we could only make it 3/4 of the way up due to 72 MPH winds up at the summit. It was a rainy, foggy ride up and made for some eerie photos through the back window of the train.

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 9

My boyfriend's family was visiting from New York for the weekend, so we spent yesterday visiting fun places all over the Seacoast including wine tasting at Flag Hill Winery, dinner at the Brewery in Portsmouth, shopping at the outlets in Kittery and a historic lighthouse tour at the Portsmouth Harbor Lighthouse.

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 8

Our friend Shane is a rock star! He cut down a massive dead pine tree in our friends' backyard last night and then finished cutting it all up today.

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 7

Hooper quite the little model. A group of us went over to our friends' house for the night to watch a tree get cut down in their backyard. It was quite the show. While watching, Hooper got jealous that I wasn't taking pictures from him and struck the perfect pose. I couldn't pass it up!

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 6

What's great about not having to take any summer classes, is that I get to read books for fun! I have a long list of books I want to read this summer and decided to start with this one while I was relaxing in my hotel room in Keene during work travel this week.

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 5

One of my favorite things about summer are thunderstorms. I got super excited a lunch today to see these dark clouds roll in, and although we never got a storm, the clouds still made for a nice shot.

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 4

While waiting in the parking lot at The Derryfield School tonight before I sat on a college panel, I spotted these little flowers growing near the concrete.

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 3

Today was our office appreciation luncheon at the Three Chimney's Inn in Durham. I love their gorgeous property! Loved this open gate; reminds me of The Secret Garden.

Summer Photo-a-Day: Day 2

BBQ to celebrate the end of another great school year with my Residence Hall Director friends

It's That Time Again: Summer Photo-a-Day

Hi everyone!

So, it's been over five months since I have posted anything. I guess working full-time while taking two grad classes will do that to you!

But, it's summer and I am back! Starting with the last day of school (graduation day) to the first day back in the fall, I will be taking a photo-a-day to document all the fun that summer will hold.

Day 1:
Yesterday was the University of New Hampshire's graduation day. Our commencement speaker this year was the amazingly talented Jennifer Lee, writer and director of the award-winning movie Frozen and proud UNH alum. She was great! I can't wait for a year from now when I will be walking across that stage with my Masters. Go Wildcats!
